11th International Anti-Corruption Conference

------------

11th International Anti-Corruption Conference
Different Cultures, Common Values
25 to 28 May 2003, COEX Convention Center, Seoul, Republic of Korea

Seoul, the Republic of Korea, home of 5 millennia of culture, of miraculous diversity and growth, of spectacular events including the World Cup and Olympic Games…and the location of the 11th International Anti-Corruption Conference.

The International Anti-Corruption Conference Series
The biennial International Anti-Corruption Conference (IACC) is the premier global meeting aimed at containing corruption. Its program caters to the whole spectrum of anti-corruption stakeholders - including public officials, the media, professional groups, academia, the private sector and the NGO community. Practical and action-oriented, it provides a forum for information exchange, training, agenda-setting and networking, aiming to produce concrete results that galvanize global anti-corruption efforts. This year's conference is organized jointly by the Ministry of Justice, Republic of Korea, the IACC Council, Transparency International, and Transparency International-Korea.

The 11th IACC & Global Forum III
A special feature of the 11th IACC is its link to the Third Global Forum on Fighting Corruption and Safeguarding Integrity (Global Forum III), taking place at the same venue in Seoul on the 29-31 May 2003. Global Forum III is an inter-governmental meeting of government ministers and officials from around the world to combat corruption and to promote greater integrity and accountability. The juxtaposition of the two conferences will provide an excellent opportunity for IACC delegates to make recommendations to the government representatives at Global Forum III.
